VIGÉSIMA COMPETENCIA INTERNACIONAL DE PINTURA INFANTIL
Tema: 'La vida en los bosques "
La Competencia Internacional de Pintura Infantil sobre el Medio Ambiente es organizada cada año por el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente (PNUMA), la Fundación Global para la Paz Mundial y el Medioambiente (FGPE), con sede en Japón, Bayer y la Corporación Nikon. La misma se ha celebrado desde 1991, y se han recibido más de 3 millones de propuestas de niños de más de 100 países. 2011 será la vigésima competencia internacional de pintura infantil. Para celebrar el Año Internacional de los Bosques de las Naciones Unidas en 2011, el tema del vigésimo concurso de pintura será “La vida en los bosques " y los participantes tendrán hasta el 15 de abril de 2011 para presentar sus pinturas.
El concurso fue lanzado el 12 de agosto de 2010. Los organizadores invitan a los niños de todo el mundo a presentar sus pinturas a la oficina del PNUMA en sus regiones. Las direcciones de estas oficinas se indican en la página 4.
Reglas y Condiciones de Participación:
Niños y niñas que se encuentren entre las edades de 6 y 14 años.
(1) Las pinturas se deberán realizar en hojas de papel A4 ó A3. (210 X 295 MM, 11-3/4" x 8-1/4".)
(2) En el reverso de cada pintura debe aparecer el nombre completo, edad (día, mes, año de nacimiento), y dirección completa incluyendo número telefónico y correo electrónico (en inglés).
(3) El estilo de pintura es libre: crayones, lápices a colores, acuarelas, etc.
(4) No serán aceptadas aquellas pinturas que se hayan exhibido o aceptado en otras competencias o foros.
(5) No se aceptarán pinturas que muestren a una persona, organización o marca en particular.
(6) No incluya palabras ni descripciones en las pinturas.
(7) Sólo se aceptarán copias duras (físicas) de las pinturas. (Se aceptarán contribuciones por e-mail sólo hasta que las copias duras sean recibidas)
(8) Puedes presentar más de una pintura.

Primer premio:
Un participante seleccionado. Un premio de $ 2,000 dólares estadounidenses, más un viaje con todos los gastos pagados para el ganador y un acompañante a las celebraciones de la próxima Conferencia Internacional de Niños TUNZA (lugar y fecha se informarán después). El ganador también recibirá una placa y otros premios suplementarios.

20th International Children’s Painting Competition
Theme: 'Life in the Forests'
The International Children’s Painting Competition on the Environment is organized every year by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Japan-based Foundation for Global Peace and Environment (FGPE), Bayer and Nikon Corporation. It has been held since 1991 and has received more than 3 million entries from children in over 100 countries. 2011 will be the 20th edition of the International Children's Painting Competition. To mark the UN's International Year of Forests in 2011, the theme of the 20th painting competition will be 'Life in the Forests' and participants will have until 15 April 2011 to submit their entries.
The competition was launched on 12 August 2010. The organizers are inviting children all over the world to submit their paintings to the UNEP office in their regions. Addresses of these offices are indicated on page 3.
Entry Rules and Conditions:
Children between the age of 6 and 14 years.
1) Paintings must be done on A4 OR A3 papers.
2) Full name, age (day, month, and year), gender and full address including phone and e-mail (in English) must be on the back of the painting.
3) Style of painting is free: crayons, coloured pencils, watercolours, etc.
4) Paintings that have been shown or accepted elsewhere will not be accepted in this competition.
5) Paintings that show a particular person, an organization or a brand name will not be accepted.
6) Do not include any words or descriptions in the paintings.
7) Only hard copies of paintings will be accepted. (E-mail entries will only be accepted after by hard copies is received).
8) You can submit more than one entry.

Global winners:
The 1st Prize:
One entrant - US$ 2,000 with a fully paid trip for the winner and a chaperone to the Tunza International Children’s Conference (date and venue to be confirmed later). The winner will also receive a plaque and supplementary prizes.
The 2nd Prize:
One entrant - US$ 1,000 each and a fully paid trip for winners and chaperones to the Tunza International Children’s Conference (date and venue to be confirmed later). Each winner will also receive a plaque and supplementary prizes.
The 3rd Prize:
Five entrants – A diploma for each winner (No cash)
The 4th Prize:
Ten entrants – A diploma for each winner (No cash)
The 5th Prize:
Forty five entrants – A diploma for each winner (No cash)
Regional winners:
One winner only from each region: Africa; Asia and the Pacific; West Asia; Europe; Latin America and the Caribbean; and North America.
