Mass celebrated by Pope Francis in the Domus Sanctae Marthae. Free from the temptation of scandal “Christian satellites” don't help the Church grow
A
Church of Christians free from the temptation of murmuring against Jesus, and
most of all free “from the temptation of scandal” is a consolidated Church that
walks and grows on the path of Christ. The Pope spoke about this in his homily
on Saturday morning, 20 April. He asked those present mass in the chapel of the
Domus Sanctae Marthae to pray for this, including about 20 volunteers working in
the paediatric clinic of Santa Marta in the Vatican and many families. Among the
concelebrants were: Bishop Antonius Lambertus Maria Hurkmans of
’s-Hertogenbosch , Bois-le-Duc, The Netherlands, and his auxiliary and vicar
general, Bishop Robertus Gerardus Leonia Maria Mutsaerts.
