The Regional Workshop, organized by ! UNEP, ECLAC,UNITAR and WRI-TAI will be held on 16-17 September 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

The purpose of the workshop is to raise awareness, discuss and build capacity among countries in the region on Principle 10, the Declaration on the application of Principle 10 in Latin America and the Caribbean and the Bali Guidelines. The activity will also explore opportunities for follow-up national level capacity development in interested countries. The workshop targets governmental and non-governmental stakeholders who are involved in review processes of relevant national legislation, have decision-making functions relevant to this issue or NGO representatives who actively work on Public Participation, Access to Information and Access to Justice in environmental matters.
